Ohio Miniature Herfords, LOV Mini Herefords, Mini, Cattle
LOV Mini Herefords at Red Barn Farm in Shelby Ohio, which is approximately halfway between Cleveland and Columbus, is a small farm raising Miniature Hereford cattle from some of the best Miniature Hereford genetics available.
We raise Miniature Herefords along with a few other beef cattle. We became interested in the Minis while attending steer shows with Logan and Marissa.
We have embryos for sale that will add value to any herd.

Benji and NicoleLynch:
Benji, Nicole and their family live on the farm on Shoup Road. Benji works at Shelby Printing and Nicole is an elementary school teacher at Shelby Saint Mary's They have three daughters, Mallary, Macy & Marissa. The girls were active in 4H& FFA and have shown horses, steers, hogs and goats along with several other projects, some at the state and county level. The girls were also active in High School with Cross Country and track. Macy attends Walsh University and is on the Cross Country and Track team.
Mike and Nancy Oehlhof:
Mike is a grain buyer at Sunrise Cooperative and manages the Crestline branch Grain Elevator and Nancy is an artist and raises Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Visit their website (www.springmillcorgis.com) We have three grown children, Shelly, Nicole and Steve and eight grandchildren.
Shelly resides in Shelby with her two children Logan and Reganne Vail. Shelly is an RN and works for Med Central. Nicole is married to Benji Lynch. You can read about them above. Logan Vail:
Logan is Shelly's oldest. He graduated in 2018 from The University of Findlay and is now employed at the Marathon Petroleum Corporation He graduated in 2014 from Shelby Senior High School. He was enrolled in Vo-Ag. As a member of the Shelby FFA he served as Vice President & as Chaplain through out his high school years. He has also participated on the Shelby FFA livestock judging team. He has shown multiple species of animals as fair projects through 4H and FFA. He's now attending The University of Findley.
Logan really enjoys showing and he is quite the showman. In 2012 he won Reserve Champion Steer at the Richland County Fair and 3rd place Champion with his Feeder Calf. He won pro showmanship with both his steer and feeder calf and was 3rd place overall in the showman of showman contest. His Steer was from Shepherd Farms and the feeder calf from Studer Farms. In 2013 he again won Reserve Champion Steer at the Richland County Fair. His steer was from Durban Cattle. Thanks Quinton and Nikki for helping & supporting Logan and coming to watch him show at the fair. Logan won the showman of showman for 2013.
In 2014 Logan won Grand Champion Steer at the Richland County Fair with his steer, Apollo again from Durban Cattle.
Marissa Lynch:

Marissa is Nicole and Benji's youngest. She graduated in 2018 from Shelby Senior High School. She is now studying to be a plumber. She was in Vo-Ag and is a member of the Shelby FFA. She showed steers, pigs and her horse Willy.
In 2012 Marissa was Junior Versatility Champion. Junior Freestyle Reining Champion and Reserve Champion Horsemanship with her horse, Willy and she won her age division in showmanship with her pig at the Richland County Fair.
